Complete dry food for growing kittens up to 12 months ROYAL CANIN® Kitten formula is specially formulated to support the nutritional needs of kittens during their second growth period. This formula is suitable for kittens aged between 4 and 12 months, when they are going through a period of significant physical and behavioural changes. The formula has an adapted content of proteins, minerals and vitamins to meet your kitten’s increased energy needs and to support the development of their bones and muscles. It also contains nutrients such as vitamins C and E, which play a role in helping kittens’ immune systems develop properly. These antioxidants have been shown to stimulate higher and faster antibody levels after vaccination. ROYAL CANIN® Kitten formula is enriched with omega-3 fatty acids (DHA) to support brain development and proper vision. Thanks to the combination of beneficial prebiotics (MOS) and highly digestible proteins, ROYAL CANIN® Kitten helps maintain a healthy balance of intestinal microbiota for proper digestion. The kibble of ROYAL CANIN® Kitten formula has been specially developed and adapted to fit the small size of your kitten's mouth. When your kitten chews, a mechanical brushing effect occurs, which helps maintain healthy teeth. When your kitten reaches 12 months of age, they will need food that is specifically tailored to the nutritional requirements of an adult cat. At this stage, they can be switched to the ROYAL CANIN® range of products for adult cats, available in both dry and wet versions (bites in gravy, bites in jelly, pâté).
