Complete dog food - especially for growing miniature breed dogs (adult weight up to 4kg) - up to 10 months ROYAL CANIN® X-Small Puppy formula has been specially developed to meet the nutritional requirements of very small breed puppies. This formula is suitable for puppies aged between 2 and 10 months and with an expected adult weight of up to 4kg. This specially adapted formula is enriched with omega-3 fatty acids (such as DHA), which have been scientifically proven to support brain development in puppies. Thanks to the combination of beneficial prebiotics (such as fructo-oligosaccharides, manno-oligosaccharides and beet pulp) and highly digestible proteins, ROYAL CANIN® X-Small Puppy contributes to maintaining a healthy balance of intestinal microbiota for proper digestion. The formula contains nutrients such as vitamins C and E, scientifically proven to support puppies’ natural defences while their immune systems are still developing. The formula also provides an optimal energy intake to meet the high energy requirements associated with the intense growth rate specific to very small breed puppies. ROYAL CANIN® X-Small Puppy kibble is specially adapted to your puppy’s very small jaw, making it easier to grip and chew. It also helps maintain dental health due to the mechanical brushing effect that occurs during chewing. When your puppy is 10 months old, they will need food specially adapted to meet their nutritional requirements specific to very small breed dogs in adulthood. At this stage, you can switch to ROYAL CANIN® X-Small Adult formula.
