This formula is suitable for medium breed female dogs weighing between 11 and 25kg at maturity and for their puppies during the weaning period up to 2 months old. The formula is specially adapted to meet the increased energy needs of medium breed female dogs at maturity, while supporting the development of nursing puppies. It also contains a complex of nutrients, including vitamins C and E, with proven action to support the proper development of the immune system. This formula includes beneficial prebiotics and highly digestible proteins, which help maintain a healthy balance of intestinal microbiota for proper digestion. ROYAL CANIN® Medium Starter Mother & Babydog formula is enriched with omega-3 fatty acids to support healthy brain development in growing puppies. ROYAL CANIN® Medium Starter Mother & Babydog kibble is easily moistened with water to form an appetising mash, ideal for weaning puppies. After just 8 weeks, puppies will need food specifically adapted to meet their nutritional needs in the next stage of development. At this stage, you can switch to ROYAL CANIN® Medium Puppy formula, available in both dry and wet versions (bites in gravy).
