Complete dog food - for growing small breed dogs (adult weight up to 10kg) - up to 10 months ROYAL CANIN® Mini Puppy formula has been specially developed to meet the nutritional requirements of small breed puppies. This formula is suitable for small breed puppies aged 2 to 10 months and with an expected adult weight of 4 - 10kg. This adapted formula is enriched with omega-3 fatty acids (such as DHA), which are scientifically proven to support healthy brain development in growing puppies. The formula provides an optimal energy content to meet the increased energy requirements associated with the intense growth rate specific to small breed puppies. The formula also contains nutrients such as vitamins C and E, scientifically proven to support puppies' natural defences while their immune systems are still developing. The intake of beneficial prebiotics (such as fructo-oligosaccharides, manno-oligosaccharides and beet pulp) and highly digestible proteins do not help to maintain a healthy balance of intestinal microbiota for proper digestion. ROYAL CANIN® Mini Puppy kibble is specially designed to fit the size of the small breed puppy's jaws, making it easier to grip and chew. The mechanical brushing effect created during chewing helps to maintain dental health. When your puppy reaches 10 months of age, he will need food specially adapted to meet his nutritional requirements specific to adulthood. At this stage, you can switch to ROYAL CANIN® Mini Adult formula, which is available in dry and wet versions (bites in gravy).
