This formula is suitable for puppies aged 2 to 8 months with an expected adult weight of over 45kg. This adapted formula contains nutrients to support your giant breed puppy during the rapid growth phase from 2 to 8 months of age and helps to prevent overweight. It also contains nutrients such as vitamins C and E, which are scientifically proven to support the healthy development of your puppy's immune system. Giant breed dogs have sensitive digestive systems. A combination of beneficial prebiotics (such as fructo-oligosaccharides, manno-oligosaccharides and beet pulp) and highly digestible proteins help maintain a healthy balance of gut microbiota for proper digestion. In addition, the formula has precise levels of minerals, including calcium and phosphorus, to support the development of strong, fast-growing bones. The crunchy kibble of ROYAL CANIN® Giant Puppy is specially adapted to fit the extra-large jaw of a giant breed puppy, making it easier to grip and chew. When your puppy reaches 8 months old, he will need food that is specifically adapted to his nutritional requirements as a growing dog. At this stage, you can switch to ROYAL CANIN® Giant Junior formula.
